
Bertrand Manhe
Bertrand Manhe serves as Chief Operation Officer of Genii Capital.
In 1996 and 1997, Bertrand ran one of the first internet-based transactional retail programmes in the US before joining a worldwide consulting eFinance EMEA practice team based in Luxembourg, where he led projects within major private and public financial institutions including the European Investment Bank until 2002. From 2003 to mid-2008, Bertrand was in charge of the worldwide channel sales program & marketing strategy at Lumension (f.k.a. SecureWave), overseeing the innovative security software company from its start-up phase to a worldwide leader and mid-size company stage, still today the largest privately owned IT Security company worldwide. Bertrand was on the board of Oraxys from 2005 to 2010, an investment fund specialized in cleantech and sustainable development.
Bertrand Manhe joined Genii Capital at its inception in 2008, and now oversees the company’s organizational and communication matters as well as some special projects. Amongst other projects Bertrand led the Polaroid Stalking Horse bid and the Renault F1 Team (now Lotus F1 Team) acquisition and turn around.
He has an international business Bachelor degree from Oxford Brookes University and holds a Masters degree in International Affairs from the Aix-Marseille University, France (with Honors). Bertrand seats on the board of the Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA) and chairs the Promotion committee of the association. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
